Stained glass project

"God save the cream", is a project born from the merging of my two artistic passions - photography and stained glass. Recently, I felt the need of doing something more tactile, and I have been searching for years how to build a bridge between my specialty of commercial still life photography and the art world. My desire to expand my artistic horizons inspired me to create a link between my past photography expertise and my more recent passion of making stained glass. I began to experiment by giving prestige to photos of cosmetic or food textures and putting them into lead and glass systems. For the first time, they can be seen as ephemeral sculptures, they become abstract and freed from their commercial origins.
